TexLa Software’s core business is to provide custom software solutions by designing, building and maintaining software that meets customer expectations. This is accomplished by giving each of our customers one on one attention and developing a package that is based on their company’s needs and future expectations. All of our software can be upgraded on a yearly basis for as long as the customer chooses.

Some of our customers have information technology departments which choose to have TexLa develop software and then have their own professionals maintain and upgrade as needed. On the flip side, some customers choose to enter into a long lasting relationship with TexLa allowing us to develop and maintain their new applications. In either scenario, TexLa will always provide top level work at competitive prices.

Our first option is always to guide our customers to a shelf product that is more cost effective than a custom application. Shelf products are sold to multiple organizations, in turn lowering the single unit price by selling in bulk. In this event, we will research all reliable software and provide a report on our findings that outlines the advantages and disadvantages of shelf products versus custom developments.  If a shelf product does not meet the criteria set forth by our customer and it is decided that a custom software application will be developed, a designer will take over the reins and begin the development process.

From here, the designer will investigate the cost for the project, giving the customer a general idea of the price involved in creating a custom application. This gives the customer time to look over the cost vs. return on their project and allowing them the option to proceed with the development or search for alternative means. Money spent on this process can avoid the bitter recriminations that occur when costs are poorly estimated.

TexLa can provide a fixed price contract once the scope of work is completed and agreed upon. Although, most customers opt against this route due to the alienation it presents to improvements to the final product.

Once the software is shipped, TexLa will provide user guides for each seat of the software needed. On site training is also available and can be done on the customer’s schedule.  We will send the programmer and designer who worked on your project to ensure proper training of your employees.

We will also, at your discretion, provide a user board where your employees can provide valuable feedback and ideas for up-grades that we will incorporate into yearly up-grades keeping your company up-to-date with the most effective and efficient software.

We sincerely hope that you’ve found this information useful on your quest for the right software at the right price and that you will contact us at texla_software@texlapipelinedesign.com with any questions about how to make your company run more efficiently.
